  1. Well, this is not exactly the selection of sports movies I expected to see when I read that tweet. But I’ll happily go with it!

It goes without saying that Big Lebowski is one of the greatest movies of all time, damn near perfect. It’s simply amazing and I have probably seen it 20 times. Is Justine thinking of Punch Drunk Love (of which Sandler gives a great performance) , Philip Seymour Hoffman is a real dick in that movie. I remember hearing an interview with one of the Cohen brothers where he said they made the plot convoluted on purpose, and you are not supposed to think too much or try to follow the story. It’s supposed to be a bunch of nonsense, but it does make more sense the more times you watch it. It was awesome hearing Jared’s enthusiasm for it, and even though Justine proclaims to hate it, she’s quoting all the way along, so I think the Cohens did their job right.
And yes, I own the soundtrack.

I have nothing to say about that dumb remake.
But on a related note, have you seen the FIRST remake of The Longest Yard? It’s called Mean Machine and stars Vinnie Jones. It’s a loose remake, but it’s pretty good.

    Fun episode, entertaining as always.

P.S. This aggression will not stand, man.
